Plastic Man - Plot Tour

Onions

Garlic

Strawberries

Brassica Patch - This year's in foreground, last year's beyond the fence:

Spot the common theme?  Weed Suppressant Fabric!  Hence the Plastic Man reference. But don't worry, there's plenty of room yet for the weeds in the potato and legume patches

Potatoes, "Others" with Brassicas in background

not to mention things like parsnips :

Currently the paths are the area most in need of attention. I think I'll get the sowing and planting sorted first.

Easter Island?

No, Cramond Island!

There are plenty of these on the causeway that links this island in the Firth of Forth with Edinburgh

You get a god view of the three bridges:

And if you are first across after the tide recedes you get the place to yourself.

Having been to Mt St Michel and Lindisfarne in the last year it was high time we reacquainted ourselves with Edinburgh's own causewayed isle.

I've still to identify this unusual plant that was thriving on the island. (Apologies for the poor focus in this picture)

On a Roll

It's been a while since posting and I have some catching up to do.  Despite my infrequent posts I am still active gardening, walking... and baking:

Bagels

Cinnamon Buns
These are two favourites that have become part of my repertoire. Both are good for the freezer, if only they weren't so popular.

I'm going to be catching up with posts on the other fronts too.
