Good for you. What always amazes me is how fast things grow in your far northern gardens once the days begin to lengthen. They quickly surpass things started months ago here where the days are shorter than yours.14 hours vs 16 hours.
Our broad beans are flowering too. For the last couple of years we've laid the mesh over the carrots and let them push it up as they grow. It seems to work much better than I expected. Your onions and garlic are looking good.
Thanks for the suggestion. I will be trying that too. It is such a pfaff to weed once the 'temple' has been constructed and pegged down! I have still got my main sowing to do alongside.
