Prompted by another blogger's "What's in your kitchen draw" feature (Thanks Sue) I collected together a selection of stirring and whisking devices from our kitchen just for the fun of it! From top to bottom
Spiral whisk
Dough mixer (Scandanavian)
Wooden spoon
Porridge spirtle
Balloon whisk
Double sided wooden spoon
Silicon spoon/scraper
Ball whisk
Yes I'm going stir crazy!
Fun. I did something like it recently, but the object was to list all the things in the kitchen made of wood. I had an old chopping bowl made of bird's eye maple that my grandfather used.
ReplyDeleteI could have done a whole post on wooden spoons - maybe a bit too obsessive!
Delete😁 I particularly like your ball whisk and the dough mixer.
ReplyDeleteEach is particularly hand for some task.
DeleteSome of those are new ones on me. The dough mixer is fascinating. Do you still use if?
ReplyDeleteYes, it is great for starting off a dough or for sticky doughs.
